I don’t know huge amounts about Buddhism, but something I aim to use often is the idea of not becoming too attached to outcome.
It’s great to have goals while acknowledging we can’t control everything that happens.
I love this quote that a recent client told me about. I believe it comes from Susie Bolt, who runs Recovery Programmes based on yoga principles.
(Quite a few clients have come to me for the Lightning Process via her work)

We can create a goal for our health, for example, and then be OPEN, rather than attached, to getting a specific outcome at a specific time

So, it’s all about knowing we have influence over our health – using our Lightning Process tools, for example. We can think about what we want and we can think about how to get it.
And at the same time we can let go of putting a date on achieving it.
We are using our influence but at the same time letting go of control
